Castiglioni’s design follows an amazingly simple logic; since natural light comes from the sky, artificial light should come from the floor. The shape of Noce, meaning walnut, does remind one of a walnut.

Noce is a luminous stone, a lamp that can be kicked around and even kept outdoors. Just put it on the table or the floor and you have the perfect table or floor lamp.

Noce provides direct and diffused light and features a clear pressed glass diffuser, swivelling light sources inside the diffuser and a painted aluminium body.
