This large open space was completely transformed in to an extravagant walk in wardrobe, featuring a range of storage capabilities and luxury details. The client wanted to create a his & hers style wardrobe, that incorporated a seating area, dressing space and an island unit. The finish throughout is a matt black that is accented by burnt oak wardrobe interiors. The doors have been specified in smoked grey glass for the wardrobes and grey mirror on the island unit and large central door.
Either side of the walk in features a linear run dedicated to ‘his’ and ‘hers’ storage. On ‘his’ side the storage includes shoe racks, hanging, trouser racks, glass drawer units and top shelving space. On ‘hers’ side the storage includes shoe racks, shelving for bags, hanging, glass drawer units and top shelving space. As per the clients request, we integrated a dressing section that features a fitted dressing table with drawers, a flap door unit to store electrical appliances and an elegant illuminated hollywood mirror. Throughout we have used vertical led lighting to illuminate each module.
To create a central feature along the back wall, we have implemented a large grey mirror door to store suitcases and larger items. Either side of this, we have created open glass shelving units that feature marble effect acrylic panels behind, which are completely illuminated from behind, giving a truly luxurious look to them.
Bringing the space together is a bespoke island unit, that features grey mirror doors on either side. Inside these sections we have provided pull out hampers for laundry. In the central section, we have kept it completely open and installed 2 lighted glass shelves, for showcasing special items. The top of the island is finished with a glass display case that houses eco-leather accessory trays for jewellery, purses, watches and other trinkets.
The client specified a seating section within the walk in. We achieved this by creating an L-shape booth seating area under the windows in the room. Underneath the benches we have utilized the available space by installing glass fronted deep drawers, maximizing the storage potential. The finishing touch is the large television above the seating, which has been encased with panels to create a fitted and integrated look.
This project has been designed & fitted to the highest standard, including each of the clients requests. The result is a large walk in wardrobe that has boundless storage potential and exudes opulence and a sleek contemporary style.
