How do we collect data?

We collect data in a variety of ways and the nature of the data taken will vary dependent on how we collect it. For example if you use our inquiry forms, we will only take the details submitted in that form, if this follows with a call from us we then may ask you for further details.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment, if you should choose to have one.

Contact & Booking forms

Using a contact or booking form means we will only extract the information entered in to the fields used in that form. Once submitted and reviewed by us, we may ask for further information from you via phone or email, to better understand your requirements.

Who we share your data with

Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp as our email client to send out customer newsletters and marketing material. Your name, email and phone number will be stored in the Mailchimp database. MailChimp is Privacy Shield certified and also use Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure the security of processing outside of the EEA.

Our live chat services are provided by WP Live Chat Support. Any personal data provided using this service could include your name and email address. Your IP address is automatically registered.

Delivery & Courier Services

Dependent on the nature of your order, we may use other courier companies to deliver goods to you on our behalf. We will provide these companies with your name, contact number and address so that they can successfully deliver your goods and contact you in case there are any problems, or provide you with any updates regarding your delivery. We will provide customers with details of the delivery company or courier if requested.

Transactions

To process our card payments and online transactions we use Cardsave/Worldpay. Information regarding your transaction will be shared with this company, including your card details.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register an account with us, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We do not hold personal data in other circumstances for longer than necessary in relation to the reason we have collected it and for its intended purpose. We never store card payment details in store.
